How are the shipping costs determined?
The shipping cost depends on:
- the number of pallets,
- the dimensions of the goods,
- the delivery address,
- possible additional services.
Provisional vs final shipping costs
When preparing a quote, EasyRack calculates the shipping costs based on an estimate of the required number of pallets.
After packing the order, it may turn out that the actual number of pallets differs from the original estimate. In that case, the shipping cost will be adjusted according to the applicable transportation formulas.
Thus, the actual shipping cost is always invoiced.
The shipping costs can be adjusted both downward and upward.
Transport rates
For shipments in Belgium, we have adjusted our rates and expanded them with different types of shipping, divided into 2 transport zones.
Free shipping
You enjoy free shipping on orders with a net order value of at least €3,500. Free shipping applies only to shipments within Belgium.

Foreign deliveries
For deliveries outside of Belgium, the rates in effect according to the Mainfreight website will be applied.
Shipping costs for deliveries outside of Belgium are always calculated upon request.
Extra delivery services
Some deliveries require additional logistical support. For this, we have a number of extra delivery services at a small additional cost.
Split delivery
If an order is split into multiple deliveries, the shipping cost will be charged for each delivery according to the categories in the rates above.
Delivery with split packaging
If the products within a single order need to be packaged separately at the customer's request, a shipping cost will be charged for each package according to the categories in the rates above.
On-Time Delivery
If your order needs to be delivered at a specific time, we will charge an additional fee for this.
For delivery in the morning or afternoon, the additional cost is € 30.
For delivery at a specific hour, the additional cost is available upon request.
Express delivery
For urgent deliveries or quick interventions, an additional charge will be applied.

Handling & storage
Handling & packaging
Store and warehouse fixings are sensitive to scratches, dents, and distortions. It is therefore very important that the goods leaving our facility receive the necessary care.
We use high-quality cardboard boxes to package and transport our goods. The boxes are always in good condition before they are shipped and are carefully taped shut.
Boxes and loose materials are always securely fastened to their pallet. For this, we use stretch film, cardboard, shipping tape, and proper stacking to ensure that the goods do not shift or get damaged.
Some goods have fragile parts (corners, protruding parts, etc.). These are additionally protected with the help of cardboard and stretch film. For extremely sensitive shipments, the label "fragile" is applied.
Storage costs
Orders that are confirmed for pickup on a certain date will be prepared for that date.
Customers are asked to pick up the goods within 3 business days.
If the goods have not been picked up after the 3rd business day, storage fees of €5 per day per pallet will be charged.
